ESCAPIST ART SHOW

I'll be having a show at Escapist next week if you're in the Kansas City area. Thanks to Dan Askew for asking me to do it! He also asked me to design a board in collaboration with Pretty for the opening. They'll be available at Escapist and I'll have some after I get back in town if anyone needs one. -Worful

FORTUNE TELLING

I got a surprise message from Mr. Uthus yesterday saying he'd be in town very briefly. So Bobby and I met up with him and a great crew of dudes at Reggie's alma mater to watch various people huck over the handicap ramp to bar there. This included Drew (who specifically wanted a photo of him ollying that included the dogs being walked in the background (done and done)) and Reggie. Randy tried a couple crazy maneuvers at the spot as well which ended in a broken board. Then Bobby was so inspired by Randy that he did a darkslide. I swear to GOD. Then we headed to meet up with Sam and company for some nice Chinese food to celebrate his birthday. -Worful

THRASHVILLE (PART TWO)

On the second day of our Nashville excursion the weather was much nicer, so we went back to Legislative Plaza. First Hood had to mentally prepare with a prayer to the skate gods though. Once again he was on point with his ledge game, and so was Bobby for that matter. We ended up getting the boot though and decided to hit the road because of how late in the day it was getting. Bob wasn't quite satisfied though, so he kept ripping on a stop along the way home. Anyway, thanks a ton to Hood for being so rad and showing and driving us around the lovely city of Nashville! We had a blast. Also thanks to Bob and Guy for driving while I slept like a fat baby in the back seat. -Worful

THRASHVILLE (PART ONE)

Guy, Bobby, and I took a long overdue trip to Nashville this past weekend to see our old friend John "Doubt It" Hood. The boys were nice enough to pick me up at work after I got off, and Bob was nice enough to drive us there through the wind, rain, and some of the most awful hail I've ever seen. In his nice new car no less. Thanks Bob! The rainbow after the storm was nice though. When we got in that night we were greeted with a kiss in the form of one of Hood's mom's awesome mosaic pieces in front of their place. That night Hood took us out to a fun bar and then we hit the hay. The next day it was a lot colder than we thought it was going to be, but we went out skating anyway. Hood took us to a fun outdoor park to warm up, and then to the famed Legislative Plaza. That spot is sooooo sick. Hood showed us what smooth ledge skating looks like. But the weather was getting to us, so we headed to a local youth center's indoor park. You could LITERALLY skate the stairs at the entrance thre. Anyway, it was fun, but not as fun as the park outside the center. Also the pink helmets were a nice touch. But they were of course outdone by the the TMNT helmet this one kid had fashioned. -Worful

LOST AND FOUND

Is there internet etiquette on snaking? More specifically on blog snaking? For hypothetical instance, say there was already one blog post today, should the other bloggers sharing that hypothetical blog wait to post until the other blog post has "finished its run"? Also, are you tired of reading the word "blog" yet?

Well here's a collection of Drew related clips that I found when I was cleaning out and backing up my hard drives this past week. I hope you all enjoy them, and I hope I didn't snake anyone!

BOBBY'S OTHER FAVORITE SKATER

AZ VACATiON part 11 - SAG from matt blevins on Vimeo.

Other than this dude all Bobby can seem to talk about is his other favorite skater lately, Scott Gall. So here's some new footage of said skater. Enjoy!

PARALLEL PARKING

Another day was spent at the Webster park the other day. Guy sold his old board for the steep price of one dollar, Bobby showed up on his new ride, Alex had a snack attack, and Drew showed up (with no hair no less) and deemed the bank to curb his new favorite spot in town. He also was dressed very similar to Joel, which Joel seemed psyched about. Later on Joe Jackson put on a slappy demo on the flatground to curb and basically shut things down. -Worful

SEE SAR

Check out the newest offering from Alex Hoffman and Ryan Sublette, Sar. Once again they do not disappoint, nor does anyone else in the video. It's super rad!

FOR REAL

Argus was nice enough to buy the new Real video and Joel was nice enough to have a few of us over to watch it on his projector last night. Thanks ya'll! They were both stoked on the video, as were the rest of us. It's pretty dang good. Also Bobby showed up on his recently fixed motorcycle, doing a very good Max Schaaf impression, which was exciting. -Worful
