CONGRATULATIONS MITTS!

Big congratulations to our friend Matt and his lovely bride who tied the knot recently. Yeah Mitts! Classy and stylish, on and off the board.

R.I.P. BOB CASSILLY

We're all terribly sad to hear about the passing of a St. Louis great, Bob Cassilly, founder of City Museum. Thanks for all of your wonderful creations and for all the fond memories. We hope everyone continues to be inspired by your passion.

The Skateboard Mag posted an article and video from city museum from a couple years back here.

ARI ARI OXEN FREE

Is this my favorite part from the Brimley video? Maaaaaybe. It's certainly a close tie between this and Vlad's.

RIFFING AND RAFFING

I met up with some dudes at the Kingshighway spot on Saturday and they put on a nice impromptu barrier demo for me. Later we went to get some "food" and then hit up the Webster park. The next day I saw some nice footy getting shot at the Southwest bank spot. Yeah boys! Way to be. -Worful

NO MORE WAITING

You can finally see the Brimley video by downloading it in it's entirety right here. Yesssss! It's so good.

ALL HANDS ON DECK

A couple two-tree weeks ago Dave and I drove down from Chicago to see the St. Louis crew. Everyone was up to their usual tricks with the possible exception of Matt and Jack who could not keep their mitts away from their boards. Staled-out No-Comply to tail courtesy of Monoxide Mitts and a southern missouri take on a Russian Boneless by the Donzfather himself. So is it a Russian or Missouri Tailblock? I guess we'll have to wait for trickapedia to catch up...

WHAT A PUNK

Is it just me or has Alex been a real punk lately? I mean look at this behavior! I don't know where he gets it. And his brother Gabe doesn't seem to be bothered. -Worful

CHOCOLATIERS

Approximately two exciting things happened yesterday. First, I got to meet Bob's son Julian. As you can imagine he's pretty much awesome and very tiny. He slept the whole time I held him, not a real chatter box. Second, I got to meet some really nice dudes from the Chocolate team who were rolling through town while on tour. I tried very hard not to fan out on Ty Evans but I'm sure I failed miserably. He too is very nice and also very tall. In other news Malto was in town with all of them and suffered a gash at the blind school unfortunately (picture courtesy of none other than Chris Roberts!). -Worful

CHICAGO VISITORS

Alex's friends from Chicago were in town this past weekend and really went to work on the church rail. Sick!

MESS WITH THE BULL AND GET THE BARGE

So other than Bobby creating a human life, the only other thing that happened this weekend was the Red Bull event. Highlights include the following: watching everyone skate really well, watching everyone skate on a BARGE, seeing his royal highness Jake, seeing Glen still ripping, seeing Wissman getting paid for shooting photos, and of course the Red Bull girls. I'm pretty sure Alex wanted to emulate Bob and try and make a Red Bull baby with those girls, but I digress. Anyway thanks again to Jason for the pass! -Worful

YEAH BABY!!!

It is my humble honor to introduce the newest member to the team, Bobby and his lovely wife Maura's beautiful baby Bob I mean boy Julian. Congratulations you two! We're all so excited for you. I can't wait to find out what stance he is, but I already love him no matter what. You're going to be an amazing dad Bob! -Worful

RED BULL MISSISSIPPI GRIND

Tomorrow and Sunday there will be a skate park on a barge docked on the river under the Arch, courtesy of Red Bull. Whaaaaat? Exactly, sounds good to me. So come check it out if that sounds like something that would float your boat (GET IT?). Local skaters and pros are skating the park tomorrow and there's a contest on Sunday. For all the details go here. I'll be there taking pictures of Bobby skating and most likely falling into the river at some point (thanks for the passes Infinity!). I'm not sure who else will be there but I heard one my favorites might. -Worful

P.S. I also heard Drew might not make it due to a recent injury, which sucks. Feel better Drew!

SHARPED DRESSED MAN

I was going to try and rest last night, BUT it's hard to turn down a late night bike ride when a sharp dressed Bob shows up at your door. So no sleep yet again. Meanwhile, while riding four wheels instead of two he did a nice wallie recently. -Worful

BLIND SIGHTINGS

Didn't skate too much this past week. Instead I sat on my couch a lot being sick, watched some movies, and tried to drink lots fluids. But I did go to the blind school a few times recently. I saw Brian and Kyle filming some good stuff there the other week. And there were some more dudes there today who's names I didn't get, but they were nice and filming some good stuff as well. Oh and Derek showed up wearing another one of his shirts. -Worful
