SKATE ART SHOW AND HALLOWEEN EVE PARTY AT WHITE FLAG PROJECTS

SUPER BAKED

When my best friend Tim first got me into skating in eighth grade we used to skate at Bristol a lot. He grew up right down the street. There was always this blue bench to skate. That was almost 20 years ago. It's nice that I can still go back there with good friends and have a nice session. In this case it was with Bobby and Joel. Bobby wanted to warm up before going in front of the school to skate another old spot of Tim and I's, but with a new twist of course. This big metal box didn't put up much of a fight before Bobby stuck a 50-50. Yeah Bob! Meanwhile Joel slammed and had to call it a day, so I rewarded him with pizza and then we met up with Jack, Randy, and Beachy at the Tower Grove fountain. Strangely we weren't kicked out, so it was super fun. After that we headed to a manual spot so Bobby could get some footage. Once we got there we were greeted by a newly healed Drew! Bobby got some footy and we had an impromptu tre flip lesson courtesy of the master. Also we formed a skater shop quartet (more on that in the future). Anyway thanks to Bob for ripping dad style and thanks to the rest of the dudes and the weather for making it such a fun day. -Worful

The other day D-Rock was in rare form. He disappeared at one point only to return to offer us powdered donuts as well as some "grass" out of the stash pocket of his moon boots. He totally saved the vibe of the sesh man. -Worful

I think Bart's heading to Chicago today. Have a safe trip Bart! Come back soon. We took him to City Museum the other night and he was, like everyone, very taken with it. He also made some new friends, including his long lost brother Troy. Seeing those two together was quite a treat. -Worful

THE CHURCH GOING TYPE

Bobby and I met up with the Kehoes at the Pevely gap so that I could film a trick. A trick which I did NOT get, but Bob DID get a sick trick. So on that good note we headed over to the butter ledges near SLU and skated for a bit before we got the buttery boot. -Worful

DOING THE BARTMAN

Bart "The Bartman" Jones is in town. Even though my phone's nonexistent at the moment I was still able get a hold of Randy and everyone, so we took Bart to some spots and demanded that he rip. He obliged. Speaking of phones, check out Bart's. He skates hard, he phones hard. Everyone else ripped too, including Jake who apparently just got on Hook-Ups. Yeah Jake! After that we went to the absolute worst gas station in St. Louis and then to a treacherous manual spot up north. Alex and Reggie battled it while a porch of very entertained onlookers cheered them on. One of which decided to take a crash course in skate photography from Bart. Randy also explored the curb to gap nearby. Finally we skated a metal ledge down the street and called it a day. -Worful
