DADWISH
Dear Sean,
After group discussion of your latest sequence, we've decided that it would've come out much better if you'd been carrying your baby girl in one hand and a beer in the other. It would've projected that living-on-the-edge/FTW image that the kids are so into these days.
At the very least, get a papoose, preferably a studded leather one.
Just a thought,
Yr pals at Pretty
P.S. We still love you.

BOTTOM FEEDERS!!!
Ah, Trivia Night: kick back, get a drink, eat some bar food, and get frustrated. With plenty of questions from the weakest of categories (really, Robert Downey Jr. movie taglines? Events of 1976? Celebrities' eyes?), you're constantly left wracking your brain for answers. Seriously, who knows this stuff!?
Bottom Feeders, that's who!!! After months of trying to win Lemmon's Wednesday Night Trivia, our underdog crew finally picked a good team name and rose up to smash the heavy-hitting competition of Sexual Vietnam and Bukkake Tsunami (yuck!), ultimately claiming the grand prize of a pizza and a case of beer. We came, we knew the answers, we kicked y'allz asses. BRAGGIN' RITES, BITCH!
Bottom Feeders are: David, Guy, Sarah, Katie, Chelsea, and Stewart.
Jason, Jessie, Jon, where the hell were you?
Now who's up for some shuffleboard?

DEEP AND MEANINGFUL
It's been said before, and there is some truth to it--skate videos and pornos have much in common. They are preDOMINANTly watched by MALES, feature tons of TRICKS, often contain SADO-MASOCHISM, and are typically crammed to the gills with RAW ACTION.
All jokes aside though, skate videos have one key ingredient that porno lacks: Love. Skaters DO IT for the love.
And as part of our ongoing efforts to spread the love, you should know about Escapist, a top-notch shop located in Kansas City. The title of their first video, Fourteen Deep, may or may not be a sly reference to the skate/porno phenomenon. And while we can't be sure about that, we can tell you that the video features a MAMMOTH team of ROUGH-RIDING rippers, plenty of amazinG SPOTs, and a couple of MONEY SHOT parts courtesy of Ryan Pearce and a BARELY LEGAL Sean Malto. You should get yourself a copy, pronto. To do so, go to their site, or HEAD over to your local shop, Infinity, and spread the love on both sides of the state simultaneously. We're feeling warm already.

BEACHMASTER
When he's not cab flipping over the pyramid at Wilson park in Chicago, Kyle Beachy is writing. A lot. His first novel, The Slide, hits shelves early next year. We suggest you go purchase it. In the meantime, check out his website, where he will be putting up a page a week for your perusal. Photo by Grizz.

LAKAI CONTEST
A while back Crailtap had a contest to design a Lakai shoe based on a movie... any movie. My pal Steve and I both made submissions but were totally denied. Admittedly my Braveheart interpretation is pretty bad, but Cool Runnings, how could you not get behind that?! -Bob

MY SHAME: THE PRETTY BLOG EXCLUSIVE WORLD PREMIERE!
I was asked to do a trick tip on a trick I'll never be good at, so naturally the best time to do it was early in the morning, on a windy day, severely hung over. Sometimes knowing what not to do is the best place to start.

COLONEL MUSTARD PANTS
This spot was "steeped" in radness. First off, Randy decided not to follow the trend of actually skating the bank, and instead chose to drop into it somehow. Then he immediately checked the cell phone footage with Art and Jeff. Meanwhile, Gabe Kehoe is practically dropping in on the way down from this massive frontside wallride. Sublette came through with a blunt to fakie right before he left town, and Guy got this 5-0 with ease. But who killed the session in the end you ask? Why it was Colonel Mustard Pants with the backside slasher of course. Gabe Photo by Bobby, all others by Worful.
