Hello world!

It sure has been a while since I have posted anything on here, but time really does fly when you have a kid! In a feeble attempt to better organize my life to set an example for my daughter in hopes of inspiring her to pick up her toys when she is done playing with them, I decided to try and merge all of my loose external hard drives that were strewn across the room into one. In the process of that, I came upon a time capsule of sorts in the form of the abandoned “Ride Channel Skate (insert local city here)” edit. I decided to wake up extra early for a week or so to dust of my blogger-board and get radical in Premiere.

I don’t recall all of the reasons this never got made, but I do know that we may have deviated from the sanctioned script. As such, we weren’t going to get paid. And if you know us, then you know we are all about them Benjamins! The Benjamins, the Jacksons, the Lincolns, the Washingtons, please, I’ll take anything!

If you want to see an example of how the format was supposed to play out so you can better appreciate or understand the beginning of this, then go ahead and click here. But there is an old saying that goes something like, “Explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog. At the end of it, you understand it better, but you’ve killed it in the process.” Also your fingers smell like formaldehyde for a couple days, and you don’t want to eat meat for a while. That being said, “killing it” in skateboarding is actually a good thing! So in other words, you can have your explanation and laugh at it too... I hope.
