THIS IS INNOVATION
So I met up with Bobby, David, and Hood yesterday briefly. Bobby stuck this 50-50, which was sick. Then Hood took a sip of something and got the bright idea to shoot a buddy rail photo. Which we did. But David wasn't done. He had to stick he new top secret trick. With a little assist from a friend of course. The real mystery is why was he wearing a button with Bobby's wife's name on it? Scandalous! -Worful

HOOD'S BACK IN OUR 'HOOD
Hood's in town! I met up with him, Guy, Drew, and David at Shitside yesterday. It was "hella" shaded on such a hot day, so that was nice. It started out as a leisurely session, but then David got things going with a no-comply pole jam. Drew and Hood were giving me the stink eye at first, but finally decided to rip. Drew warmed up on the small bank with a blunt, then did a switch pole jam. He finished off at the barrier, with a back smith, back lip, and front feeble grind. Hood took Drew's energy and ran with it. He ollied the "boob" with ease, then he did a massive wallride from the bank to the marble slab. Finally, he did a switch boardslide across the barrier and over the steps. Not too shabby boys. -Worful

A "HOT" SESSION
It was about one hundred degrees out today, or so I was told. It certainly felt like it was. Anyway, Bobby definitely turned up the heat even more with this 50-50 up the ledge at the Webster park. He also taught the kids there a valuable lesson about always wearing your helmet. What a gentleman. -Worful

GO GOOF AROUND WITH BOBBY DAY
This year's Go Skateboarding Day wasn't too exciting per se, but it was certainly fun. That's mostly due to my partner in crime, Bobby. At one point he suggested we call it "Go Eat Candy Day" instead, because that's mostly what we got accomplished. But we did end up skating at some point, at Shitside, and what's better than one Bobby at a session? Well, two of course. So Bobby Taylor showed up. The addition of Guy and Schwartz never hurts a session either. Hope everyone had a good day! -Worful
Editor's note: I wasn't sure what to call Bobby's trick. He suggested "a hairy cruntslide." Inappropriate.

SHITSIDE IS THE SHIT
I went to Shitside yesterday for the first time in a few weeks, and I couldn't believe all the rad stuff that's there now. Kudos to Goeke and whoever else has been working on everything there. I met the super Kehoe brothers there, as well as Randy. Alex nearly died trying his trick. He really went for it, but ultimately didn't get it. He'll ge it soon though I'm sure. Anyway, we couldn't believe how sweaty his pants were. Meanwhile, Randy got into a frontside hurricane on the barrier, and then one-upped himself with a switch frontside wallride. He gave himself a reluctant thumbs up, but I think he should've given himself two thumbs up. -Worful

BOBBY "SPIELBERG" MARKSTEINER
Finally! Here's Bobby's first video edit, shot entirely on his new Flip video camera. It's of Tim Ward making waves at the Tower Grove fountain. Nice job boys!

SHRED A TEAR
In case you haven't heard, our beloved hood, Hood has moved back to Nashville. If you didn't have the opportunity to skate with John or even toss back a cold one with him before he left, you blew it. But I did hear he's coming back soon to pick up the rest of his things. (I think he might have left his front shuvs.)

INFINITY'S TENTH ANNIVERSARY JAM
The tenth anniversary skate jam that Infinity put on yesterday at the JB park was super fun. Thanks Jason! Everyone really appreciated all your hard work. Lots of kids showed up, and Jack started the chaos off by judging a best trick contest down the double set. There were a lot of contenders and while the scooter kid gave it a good go, ultimately it went to the kid with the sick hardflip. After that there was more general jamming around the park, including some goodness from Drew. Then there was a raffle where Jason gave our an insane amount of good stuff. It finally started to rain though, and Bobby was bummed. Some people came more prepared. Joel was just bummed he couldn't use the bathroom. Thanks everyone for coming out! -Worful
