Thanks to everyone for showing up and supporting the fundraiser last night. It was an overwhelming success. I counted the money this morning and the grand total from the night was precisely $1874.36 in earnings. That is far, far beyond my expectations and I couldn't be happier that everybody showed up and things went smoothly. My first imperative is to put the cash in my bathtub and to bath in it like Scrooge Mcduck. After my delusions of grandeur and wealth subside, I'm going to start a new blog that will have each individual project that the money is used for documented through the planning, construction, and completion stages and then show the total amount of money used for the project.
I am open to any ideas any one has for the spot. As much as I wish I could, I can't just hand out wads of cash for obvious reasons and if you have an idea make sure it is well planned out and everyone involved can make the unanimous decision whether it is valid to build. I think an organized approach like this will yield better results. For now if anyone is die-hard enough to work in this crappy weather, I'd like to get to work on the ground. I have no idea how to start with that but I've heard some good ideas, so if you have the know-how for that project, please contact me.
I'll organize some sort of meeting in the next week or so to get together and kick around ideas, its going to be freezing for the next two months at least so we have plenty of time to come up with some plans for spring. No big rush.
And again, HOLY SHIT. You guys killed it. Thanks Jack, Ben, Guy, Jake, Tess, Chris and Lucy for the extra help at the skatium. And thanks to everyone who brought stuff up or built stuff to skate and everyone who paid their way in to help this thing out.

WOOOOOOOOOOW!!! (PART TWO)
I wish I'd gotten decent shots of everything and everyone on every obstacle. This amazing Ben Goeke obstacle (that he made last night, in the parking lot aparently? So sick, thanks Ben!) proved to be very popular and also probably the only place where I could shoot and not get hit with a rogue board (I wish I could say the same for my flashes!). Everybody was going off, and it was so fun to see. I especially went nuts for this kid's ridiculously tweaked heelflip, as well as Jake's amazing 360 flip. Oh, and Randy's little brother blasting over this thing on roller skates of course. Thanks for ripping everyone! Also special thanks to Sam McGuire for letting me borrow his fisheye lens! -Worful
WOOOOOOOOOOW!!! (PART ONE)
Man oh man, last night was SO fun! I don't even know how to sum it up. Lots of old and new friends, tons of stuff raffled off by MC Donze, DJ Chris keeping things lively, Sam McGuire shooting photos on roller skates, and sick skating of course. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. It was great to see everyone and watch it all go down. I know Randy appreciates all the support everyone showed and donations they gave. And special thanks to everyone who's made and continues to make that spot so great in the first place. Also, check out the great shirts that Brian helped Kyle make! Hit them up if you would like to get one and continue to support the spot. Anyway, thanks everyone!

If you have any ramps to contribute or want to build something for this event, do it! It would be a huge Help! Keep it simple and functional if you do, wack shit will be set on fire in the parking lot!

CITY SLICKERS
Here are some shots I got the couple nights I as able to lurk behind the scenes at City Museum. As you can see, Joe and David threw some shit down in the now defunct yet somehow more skateable skatepark. David's ollie out to 5050 and front disaster shut the whole thing down. By the end of the last night there Randy was ready to cut loose for sure. -Worful
