By the looks of this video and the dropping of some eaves, Boone County Missouri's very own Ryan Sublette may be on his way to bigger and better things. At the moment is he road tripping for Jackson Casey's latest project. (Can't wait.) Here is excellent documentation of their recent Michigan exploits.

And so it appears, by the hands of a cruel and spiteful god, this summer might be going in reverse. After one of the most brutal June months that I can remember we have a small respite from all of the lighting-bolt slinging condemnation. I hope it last but if not, I hope to see everyone out on the streets enjoying it while it does. I know the Kehoe brothers will be anyway. I don't think they've missed one 95+ 100% humidity day since summer started. Maybe they are reptiles from the 5th dimension and are made out of snake skin. Or maybe they just love cultivating skin cancer.

TALK ABOUT A POLE JAM!

A big tree fell in Bobby's backyard over the weekend during the storm, but thankfully no one got hurt and their house is alright. His neighbors speculate that he knocked it down himself so he could skate it, but they've got no proof. Now he's going to use the wood to build a mega ramp in his backyard, I'm assuming. -Worful

JUST IN TIME

I only skated with the dudes for like a half an hour, but got to the spot in time to see both Alex and Joe do some sick stuff into this treacherous banked loading dock. I also saw Reggie's highly inappropriate drawing he did on Gabe's board, as well as him tagging a drawing of a person tagging. Very meta indeed. -Worful

CUTIE PATOOTIES

So I pulled up to Bobby's house yesterday and saw this: Bobby putting on a one man demo for for the two cutest girls EVER. One of them even compared her elbow "boo boo" with Bob's. Afterward we checked out this new bank spot near the Galleria, that was super fun. We finished off at this bump near my house and then called it a day. The sun wasn't even out when we started but we were sweating bullets the whole time. Ugh. But I'll still take this heat over the winter. -Worful

The first spot I ever skated with Bobby at was the snow cones. He'd just moved here from Chicago with his then lovely girlfriend, now lovely wife. I guess that was about five years ago or so. Anyway, we decided to go there randomly tonight and it was super fun. We also took a short walk down the street and through some trees to this little bank by a small pond.
