I BLOW SPOTS LIKE WACO, TEXAS
Check out this sick photo Guy took of Omar Salazar! It was taken when the Alien Workshop team came through town awhile back, while filming for their video. I just came across it while looking at their new catalog. Nice job Grizzler. -Worful

IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING
HOT OR NOT?
QUIET ON THE SESH!
What's David up to now? And what's that crazy camera he's using? You just never know with him. Meanwhile, lots of shredding went down yesterday, that's for sure. Randy, Drew, Joe, Bobby, and Joel put on quite a "cinematic" performance to say the least. -Worful

INTERNATIONAL LOSER
As many of you know I've been on a major S.K.A.T.E. losing streak lately. So to hide my embarassment I had to leave the country for a while. Jaki here wouldn't give me a break, he could sense that I was an easy victim and suckered me into a game. He was ruthless, defeating me while only getting one letter. Jaki must have felt bad for humiliating an old man in front of his wife because he tipped me on which local shop is the most legit.
Lucky for us they have their video posted online.

JOEL? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?
Out of all the places I could run into Joel, the most unexpected was on my way to skate the Element plaza in Helsinki. I'm not sure whats going on here, but his new band is looking pretty epic.
The Element plaza is quite fun even on a solo session. This place has endless lines. I wish A) I had more time there, and B) the rest of the Pretty crew was there with me.

MODERN (GN)ART IN HELSINKI, FINLAND
Helsinki's modern art museum is quite amazing theres Nazi Tweeties, Alf made to look like Hitler and a slew of other comedic social commentary pieces. What really won my heart over though, was their history of skatebording exhibit mostly from a Finnish perspective. There were boards old and new, along with videos from several generations including what appeared to be a local Helsinki homie video. But the icing on the cake was the mini ramp outside the museum which was free to skate whenever you'd like, and also there were some good ledge lines right in front of the museum's entrance.
More on Helsinki to come. -Bob

5BORONYC? 5BOROSTL!!!!!
Tombo, the 5boro Skateboards team manager, posted a bunch of his iPhone photos on the 5boro blog of the team's recent exploits in our very own St. Louis. Tombo is what I would like to call a skateboarder's team manager, and by that I mean he puts the fun of skate trips above all else. No too early wake up calls, no drowsy 3am generator-lit sessions, no stressful whip cracking. As you can see by his photos, its apparent that good times and vital relaxation are what made the trip, and everybody still killed it. I'd like to thank 5boro for coming out and for being such gracious house guests. They were respectful and more importantly super fun to kick it with for the week, even when showing our neighbors the best way to break into our house!

IN OTHER SKATE NEWS
Are Randy and Marty an item? That seems to be the latest (and HOTTEST!) skate gossip. Here are some paparazzi shots of their most recent "outing" on the City Museum's ferris wheel. They do make quite the happy (and HANDSOME!) couple. -Worful

CURIOUS
Why's there a ferris wheel on top of the City Museum? What the heck is David trying? What's Jack looking at? What's Randy smiling about? Curious. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. -Worful

WE'RE ON FIRE
Jason Crombie of Wooooo Magazine fame got our latest board reviewed on Vice Magazine's site, and by a fireman no less. Now that's a "hot" review! Thanks Jason.

IT WAS RATHER HOT TODAY
I met Guy up at Shitside today. The new work being done on the quarter pipe is looking super good. But since it's not done yet, Joel focused on the ledge. We also met this guy Argus Keppel who just moved here from California. He's super nice, and he rips. Then Alex and his friends showed up and shut the session down, basically. But it was getting too hot and I'm getting too old for this, so I didn't mind.
