PERRY VILLAINS
Thursday was blessed with warm weather and a surprise visit from Dave "Windy City" Thomas. So Hood, Herbert, David T. and David U. hopped in the car and made their way to Perryville's skate mecca, Feltz. Hood showed off the newest interpretation of Worful's latest masterpiece. Feltz' creator Matt Cornelius took the day off to join us on his home turf and slay a bluntslide to fakie off the end of The Aztec. (Word of advice - don't play S.K.A.T.E. with Matt unless you enjoy losing or trying every heelflip trick you can't do.) Hood and Matt teamed up for synchronized skating on the bank to box that you'll have to wait to see. Dave Thomas was in full effect with nosegrind after nosegrind into the bank so I could get a decent shot. He didn't seem to mind. Herbert man-handled a tailslide jam. And remember kids, don't drink and fly.

B.Y.O.B.O.B.B.Y.
So yesterday Bobby slammed within 30 seconds of getting out of my car, then I randomly found $20 on the ground. But that was my highlight for the day. I peaked. Fortunately Bobby had more in him than just a slam, and he took me to some fun ledges out near the airport. The moral of the story is if you want a fun session, you're going to need to bring your own Bobby. Or hope to find some money lying on the ground. Boardslide pop out, switch front board, and a crooked grind. -Worful

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS
Our pal Jabari Pendleton has a Check Out in this month's issue of Transworld Skateboarding. So you should "check" it "out." Get it?! Also there's a sequence of none other than native son Steve Berra skating a St. Louis spot in this same issue. Word. Also, also, Randy has an interview in this month's issue of FTK Magazine with some great photos by Ben Karpinski and Mike Stanfield. Way to go guys! Speaking of Randy, what HAS he been up to since he left anyway? We're pretty sure he's TCBing all over the place.

JUST DROP IT
Saturday was pretty low key. We skated this manual spot that Bobby liked. It was fun, but things really got interesting when we discovered this drop around the corner. Bobby did it pretty easily and then peer pressured Hood into trying it. At first Hood was into it, but then things changed when he got to the top. Soon enough he did it though, easy as pie. Or is it cake? It doesn't matter. They both did it as easy as some sort of delicious treat. Photos by Worful, sequence by Bobby.

KEEPING IT REALLY REAL
Joe Jackson has been skating this board for who knows how long. When I asked him if I could take a picture of it he said "Why? So you can make fun of it on the computer?" Ha! Well the joke's on me then, because I could never skate a board this gnarled as well as Joe does. Unfortunately for me, he just picked up his new Pretty boards. So lord knows how hard he'll be ripping now. -Worful

MEMORY SCREENING
Bobby was nice enough to borrow a projector and screen from his work last Friday night so we could all watch the new Alien Workshop video Mind Field and get our minds blown off. If you haven't seen it yet please do yourself a favor and buy it immediately, and some diapers. You're going to need them.

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH
Yesterday started off at the tennis courts. Drew blasted a huge backside ollie on the "pizza slice" and Joe did this crazy frontside 180 to slasher grind on the side of it. Then we went to check out this spot behind a McDonald's, but we were NOT lovin' it due to the ground being wet there. So it was off to the fountain. Bobby and Drew sessioned the ledge with a backside tailslide and front lipslide. Then Bobby and Worful had some fun on the miniature hubba across the street with a frontside 180 nosegrind and a wallie layback boardslide. Jake (or "Zurchart") also joined in on the fun, but we're not sure what trick he was trying. Meanwhile, David relaxed after winning a rousing game of S.K.A.T.E. Photos by Worful, except the layback by David.

ON THE LITERARY TIP
Our pal Kyle Beachy broke it down on the literary tip last night at Left Bank Books. He gave a reading from his new novel and also answered some questions about the book and himself. It was a really nice night and we're stoked for him!

THEN THINGS GOT WEIRD
Our session this past Saturday started off simple enough. We were just trying to find a dry place to do some flatground maybe. Then things got weird. First David spied a little kicker hidden in the snow. Then Joe got his trusty restaurant seat from the back of his truck and used it as a kicker to launch a healthy pop shuvit. Then he started freestyling. David and Bobby got in on the freelstyling as well. Randy got bored and decided to mix things up with a massive drop into the massively small kicker. Jake was on the scene and couldn't believe his eyes. He also had his new camera and his old "hat." Then David started getting all Eero Saarinen on some shit. Maybe it was from being all cooped up inside away from the cold last week, but things just got weird. Photos by Worful.
