THE LANDING

According to the Laclede's Landing website, the area is "home to over twenty great restaurants, clubs, shops and attractions." There's also some stuff to skate there that the site failed to mention, including these rocky benches. -Worful

60 CHUBS PER SECOND

Bobby recently got a Canon 60D, exciting! I felt the cruel role reversal of HIM telling ME to do the same trick over and over so he could get it documented to his liking. Anyway, I don't know how the footy looks but I love this photo he took of my disgusting face. And yes Bob is helping me film a full part for the new Girl/Chocolate video. -Worful

LIFE IMITATING ART

I met Chris at the Kingshighway spot the other day and there seemed to be lots of new graffiti. Here are my favorites, plus some pictures of Chris ripping. -Worful

SCHWARTZ STYLEZ

While lurking on Gabe's Facebook page I came across this photo featuring Schwartz at the famous Tom Cruise gap. I don't know if this is a make, but I pray to Xenu that it is and I can't wait to see his footy in the Infinity video. Photo by Dan Goedeker. -Worful

THE DONE DEMO

The Done Trip is coming through town in the form of a demo this Friday at the JB park! So yeah, let's just agree to agree that we're all gonna be there because it sounds like fun. According to Infinity the demo's going to start at 5pm. If it happens to rain then there's going to be a signing under the pavilion right next to the park. The list people that will be there for sure are Robbie Brockle, Jake Donnelly, Marty Murawski, Ryan Pierce, Joe Tookmanian, Ernie Torres, and Clint Walker. Oh and RANDY PLOESSER! He better do one of his famous kickflip melon grabs over the entire park or I am going to be supremely bummed. Thanks for setting this up Infinity, can't wait! -Worful

P.S. Infinity wanted to stress the fact that a park ranger would be at the demo, so please no funny business. Be safe and have fun!

SMOKE SCREEN

Joel sent me this lovely video of Bobby's newest innovation. -Worful

TOTALLY RAD 3 NOW AVAILABLE

Stop by Infinity or track down Sam Corkery at the Webster park to get a copy of his new masterpiece Totally Rad 3. I went to the VERY swanky premiere and it was quite the visual treat. Yeah Sam! -Worful

MISSION: TOTALLY POSSIBLE

Some of Pratte's friend from Minnesota were in over the weekend. Also Danny and Chris have found the joys of photography. Chris still wants to pursue his modeling career in front of the camera though. He's currently going through his grunge period. Wissman's really good at flatground, although I'm sure everyone knew that already. Also there are such things as nice security guards in this crazy world. Anyway I think that about covers the weekend pretty much. -Worful

NORTH COAST

Chris Burt, aka "Big Burt", is a fellow filmer friend of mine, and many others.  It seems like just yesterday that he was teaching me how to film over AOL instant messenger, but never the less, we've both grown so much since then (Chris more literally than me).  Chris was always very helpful and infinitely patient, and for that, I always sort of saw him as a father figure (but maybe that can just be attributed to the drastic height difference we share).  I'll spare everyone the rest of these terrible jokes on behalf of his stature, but the real reason I'm posting this is because he just finished making a full length skateboard video.  The trailer can be seen just before this banter, and, although I am biased, I have to say that it is definitely one of the more magnificently fundamentally filmed independent skateboarding videos that have been published.  Chris Burt should be proud, and I just want everyone to know it's possible to purchase his video-graphical opus, in all its digital video disc glory, here at Infinity when he comes to town  when he gets copies made again because HE SOLD OUT!  Anyway if you see him this weekend, feel free to say hi, give him a really really really high five or, if you're with a big group of friends, chant "Big Burt" repeatedly to give him a warm welcome.

-Jake

BE CAREFUL

There was a shooting in the Delmar area recently, the same day I happen to be skating there with Bobby and Argus. It's very scary and sad whenever something like that happens, so please be safe and observant where ever you skate. And please be mindful and respectful the next time you find yourself wanting to scream, throw your board, or whatever else in public. I know skating's hard, but it should be most of all fun. -Worful

SHEEP PEEP

Whilst walking to work the other day Guy spotted someone wearing Sheep shoes and snapped a quick pic with his new iPhone burner. Anyway if you haven't seen Life of Leisure please start here and continue here. -Worful

HONOR ROLL

A week or so ago I met up with a crew that included Guy, Gabe, Mitts, and Jared. We all got to see Jared get one heck of a clip in Tower Grove Park. After that we skated the front of the blind school for a little bit. This past weekend included seeing Argus! It had been too long. I showed him and Bobby a spot near my house that I didn't know existed until I saw Drew skate it recently. Yesterday I got to see Bobby Taylor get a trick and then saw a bunch of good stuff go down at the career academy ledges. Including a sick line from Chris! -Worful
