WE'RE TALKING ABOUT PRACTICE

Not a game, not a game, not a game. We're talking about practice. That's what Joel and I were all about the other day at the Webster park, practicing stuff over the hip. Joel faired much better than I did, so I took notes. -Worful

PARTYING AT A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL

Who's my favorite pro? The Muska you guess? Close. But no, it's Randy Ploesser. And there was a party to celebrate his new board and pro status this past weekend. Sadly I was home sick. But from the looks of these photo booth pictures Lucy sent me it looks like everyone had a great time. Yeah Dolphin! -Worful

FEATS OF STRENGTH

This past Friday I skated late into the night with Bobby and Gabe downtown, very fun. Although I felt like an out of shape zombie the rest of the weekend. Anyway it was worth it, thanks for filming us Gabe! Meanwhile I did make it out of the house again briefly to witness various feats of strength, including a no comply over the chain at the stadium ledges. I'd always wondered if that was possible. So sick! -Worful

ADDICTED

Is Joel obsessed with Breaking Bad? Or is his skating so gnarly and combustable lately that he has to take special precautions when he skates now? -Worful

HELP SENT

Randy's Send Help teammates and all around ripping dudes Preston Harper and Justin Modica were in town the other day. I met up with them and some other homies at Shepard. A chilly day at Shepard, fun! No it was fun actually, but I don't know how people can skate that spot so well. For example, Preston and Chris. Meanwhile Kyle was in town! And Derek got a new sponsor! Also I got to see Randy skating his new board! AAAGGGHHH! Mind melter for sure, so stoked. -Worful

ARI/NYC/DGAF

I was in NYC recently and had the pleasure of hanging out with Ari. We didn't have time to skate really, unless by "skate" you mean we had lunch in the park and talked about girls. But he was nice enough to skate with me down the street so I could hail a cab to the airport. He also kept me company in said cab. What a nice dude. Super good to see you Ari! Good luck in NYC. -Worful

Editor's note: That's a nollie heelflip on the right. And yes it was a make, first try.

STEVE PURDUE THROWAWAY

Here's a video and a little interview that Toebock recently published of Steve Purdue.  There are a couple clips in the video from when he came through St. Louis floating around in there that I'm guessing Steve decided wouldn't make the cut for his upcoming Toebock part.  Now I'm all for having high standards, but this throwaway footage walks a fine line between that and truly part-worthy material.  I really can't wait to see what he considers his best!
