David (who had the SWINE FLU but is doing much better now thank goodness) just called to inform me that Reggie would like everyone to come skate at the Jefferson Barracks skate park tomorrow in their best Halloween duds. I was told it was around noon, and there may or may not be candy there. This was not discussed. Anyway, have a Happy Halloween everyone!!!

So I met up with Bobby, Jared, Larry, and their friend Chris yesterday at the fountain. Bobby wanted to try and shoot a picture of something he'd filmed recently, but due to a rain delay you'll have to wait until a future post to see it. But before the rain he managed to nose manual the entire fountain ledge. Also Larry stuck a crooked grind through the screw, and Jared did an extra steezy back tail. Not bad for a laid back Sunday afternoon, not bad at all. -Worful

Jack called Sunday and informed me that there was quite a crew of dudes at the tennis courts. So I checked it out, and a fun session was indeed underway. Reggie blasted a nice ollie on the bank, Bobby filmed Jack's bluntslide, and Drew and Alex were working on a line that started with a backside nosegrind on the box and ended with a front disaster on the wall. I asked Drew if he could do the front disaster again so I could shoot it, forgetting that he could pretty much do anything I could probably think of. And he did. Then he took us to a rail in the loop and proceeded to do whatever we asked him to do there as well. We were very pleased, and so was he. -Worful

So Bobby, Guy, Jake, and I drove to Columbia to see the Birdhouse Skateboards demo this past Saturday. I forgot to bring any music, so we had to fill the time with stimulating conversation. When we got to the skate park we were shocked at how many people were there. But then we remembered that TONY HAWK was going to be there. He's unfadable and put on a really good demo along with the rest of the team, thanks guys! Randy seemed pleased with how everything turned out. His parents made it there, which was sweet. So did Lucy and HER parents! Also her amazing and amazingly small dog, Pontz. Brandon and Ryan were there, and Jeff made it in all the way from Arizona as promised. Even the rad one himself Andy Wissman was there, and it was nice to finally meet him. Drew's fans showed up too. We skated the park a little bit, and played some S.K.A.T.E. as usual. All in all it was a really fun day, but it seemed incomplete until we stopped by one more spot for a quick session. -Worful
Editor's note: We totally blew it and didn't get there until after the street demo was over. We had the wrong time, we were bummed. So yeah, no photos of the street demo, sorry!
