Sam has FINALLY released footage from his much talked about iPod video. It's been in production for awhile now, and almost didn't happen after Sam ran into issues during production (see: his mother ran his iPod through the wash). Anyway, it's done, that's what's important. Here's Alex Kehoe, Alex Hoffman, Chris Jackson, and Dustin Lilly's parts. Yeah Sam! -Worful

Fellow filmer friend of the north Chris Burt, AKA "Big Burt" (blog banner art by Alex Kehoe), just made a trip out to New York. The spots there look pretty fun, and the bars look pretty flat. I would love to take a trip out there sometime, but if you are like me and have not, just live vicariously through Chris' throwaway montage here. Not only can you fool yourself in believing that you've been to New York, but you can also pretend your life has a soundtrack scored by M. Ward and you can kickflip backlip the blue two stair across the street from JB.

Sunday I met up with everyone at the courts for a farewell session with the Dude Life dudes before they headed back to Chicago. Super good to see ya'll and hope to see everyone again soon, thanks for stopping by! -Worful

Was there an impromptu Pretty/Dude Life mini-tour and demo in Perryville this weekend? Yes, in fact there was. Our own personal Beauty and the Beast if you will. Our brothers up north came down and met us at the park and a fun day was had. We even had a guest skater, Shaun Gregoire! Everyone was killing it, and co-mayors Dave Thomas and Jack Donze seemed pleased. But Jack wanted to put one final touch on the day's session, in the form of a frontside 360 ollie dunk. Perfect. -Worful

Bobby, Guy, Joel, Randy, Alex, and I had the entire Webster park to ourselves last night. It was glorious. Lots of goofing around ensued, and then Joel got serious with a super popped kickflip over the bench. Woah! After awhile it was time to wind things down with our usual game of S.K.A.T.E. But just then the lights went off, so we took it to the parking lot. But theeeeen we got booted by "the man." Well the cop was a woman actually, and pretty nice about the whole thing, but still. That game will have to be continued some other day. -Worful

I picked up Bobby and Guy the other day and we headed to ye ol' Hanley wall, one of my favorite spots. It's also a very hard to skate spot, but we had fun there for sure. Later Bobby got revenge on me in a game of S.K.A.T.E. and then we stuffed our fat faces with Mexican food and prepared to regret it later. -Worful

I have been spending some weekends in Champaign Illinois as of recently. Mainly I'm catching up with the lady friend, old friends, meeting new friends and buying Citronella candles at SuperValu to wax the ledges in their parking lot out front. The preceding pictures exemplify 3 of those 4 activities. Maybe next time I'll try to persuade my girlfriend to stand on a skateboard and see how that turns out.

Goeke sent us this flyer for the benefit skate jam that's tomorrow night at St. Louis Skatium Roller Skating Rink to support the Kingshighway spot. Doors open at 9:30pm and the entrance fee is $10. And don't forget the costume contest!

Randy and Marty are in Chicago at the moment, and according to Skateboarder he was there not too long ago and managed a front rock on the infamous sea wall. Woooooah! -Worful

I picked up Bobby, Guy, and Schwartz the other day and we headed to this angle iron spot Jared told us about that we'd never been to. It was sick, and shaded which was nice. After that we headed to the long flatbar that my friend Nate used to refer to as "the schlong." GROSS. Anyway, Bobby continued his ripping even though he took a nasty fall earlier, and while Schwartz was unsuccessful at making a polejam Joel was successful at making his noseslide. -Worful
